Dave Sedgwick
Commercial Director
Dave is responsible for all commercial and financial aspects of the business including sales, marketing and compliance.
With a strong background in B2B sales and high-level negotiations, Dave launched his first logistics business in 2011 with just one small van and a sat nav. Through hard work and dedication, this business grew to the point that in 2018 it was purchased outright by one of the biggest names in worldwide logistics.
In 2019 he founded Dart with our Operations Director, John.
Now wholly focused on growing Dart and satisfying our ever-expanding portfolio of clients, Dave is passionate about maintaining standards within the industry and keeping Dart as the first choice supplier for businesses in a wide range of industries.
John Rickers
Operations Director
As Operations Director, John focuses on the day-to-day management of drivers, vehicles and route planning. He ultimately ensures everything safely arrives when and where it should.
John thrives on a challenge. With an established and successful background in warehousing and sameday logistics, and having set up one of the UK's busiest sameday logistics hubs for a national operator, he also has unrivalled experience in the industry.
Within his role at Dart, John is dedicated to ensuring our exceptional standards of client service are at the heart of everything we do, plan and introduce. Our clients love to challenge John with a tricky problem, and with his knowledge and experience, he always finds the solution.
